## What this means

On 19 FEB 2025, Amazon Web Services changed AWS Chatbot to Amazon Q Developer in Microsoft Teams, Slack, its console, and documentation. Existing chat configurations, APIs, endpoints, permissions, code, and regional availability stayed the same, so users did not need to reinstall the chat apps. In chat, use Amazon Q instead of aws for mentions, and update programmatic Slack webhook mentions to the bot member ID.
