## What Mela does

Mela's in-app browser detects a recipe on the page you are viewing and shows it in a clean recipe view, and you can subscribe to recipe blogs or scan a recipe from a printed book with text recognition.

A cook mode shows the steps in a large font, holds several recipes at once and runs timers with Live Activities.

Meal plans go into the Calendar app and the grocery list into the Reminders app, and recipes sync through iCloud, privately or as a library shared with other iCloud users.

## Who Mela suits

- Apple users who want their recipes synced through their own iCloud
- Cooks who save recipes from many blogs and from printed cookbooks

One limit: Mela keeps the grocery list in Apple's Reminders app and meal plans in Apple's Calendar app.

## What Mela costs

Free tier: Free plan. Mela is free to download and needs a one-time in-app purchase to unlock all features, with no subscription.
