## What Pestle does

Pestle saves recipes from websites and from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube posts through the Share menu, keeping only the ingredients and steps, and scans printed recipes.

Guided cooking walks through a recipe step by step with timers and hands-free control, and SharePlay keeps the steps in sync with someone on a FaceTime call.

Recipes scale to the servings you need, convert between metric and imperial and go into a shopping list; with Pestle Pro, you also get meal plans, device sync and a shared household cookbook.

## Who Pestle suits

- Cooks who find recipes on Instagram and TikTok
- Households that want one shared cookbook, with Pestle Pro

One limit: Device sync, households and meal plans need Pestle Pro.

## What Pestle costs

Free tier: Free plan. Pestle has a free plan; Pestle Pro is sold monthly, yearly or as a lifetime purchase, with a free trial.

Current prices: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pestle-recipe-manager/id1574776971 (we do not list prices: makers change them, so check the maker's own page before you buy).
