## What Readlang does

Readlang lets you read text in the language you are learning and click any word or phrase to see a translation; a browser extension and bookmarklet bring the same reader to almost any website.

You can paste or upload your own texts, including whole novels, or pick articles from its library.

Every word you translate is saved, and Readlang picks the most useful ones to practise as flashcards on a spaced repetition schedule.

## Who Readlang suits

- Intermediate learners who want to read novels and articles in the original language
- Learners who want vocabulary flashcards built from what they actually read

One limit: The free plan limits phrase translations and context explanations per day.

## Readlang and AI

AI inside, as the maker says: The maker's page says Readlang gives context-aware explanations of words and phrases using AI. ([source](https://readlang.com/))

## What Readlang costs

Free tier: Free plan. Readlang has a free plan with daily limits on phrase translations and explanations; Premium and Premium Plus subscriptions, monthly or yearly, remove them and add audio and voices.

Current prices: https://readlang.com/pricing (we do not list prices: makers change them, so check the maker's own page before you buy).
