What Obscura does

Obscura captures photos, videos, Live Photos and portraits, in RAW, ProRAW, HEIC or JPEG on supported devices, with control of exposure, focus, white balance, ISO, shutter speed and flash.

It shows a grid, a spirit level, a histogram, focus peaking, a focus loupe and exposure clipping while you shoot, and applies built-in or custom filters live in the camera.

Its own library view lets you browse, rate, edit and share shots, and everything stays in the system photo library.

Who Obscura suits

  • iPhone photographers who want manual camera controls in a simple layout
  • People who shoot RAW or ProRAW and like live filters

One limit. Obscura needs iOS 18 or later.
