Open data

CookiesForAI publishes its catalogue as JSON files, rebuilt with every update. You may reuse them, including commercially, under CC BY 4.0: credit "cookiesforai.app" with a link. Each listed skill, server and tool keeps its own license; our files describe them and do not relicense them.

Files

File What it holds
/data/skills.json Every agent skill with its source, license, install commands, the agents it works with and the dates we checked, plus the GitHub repositories they come from
/data/mcp.json Every MCP server with its publisher, repository facts, connect commands, documented clients, free tier, cost in plain words, pricing page link and the date we checked
/data/tools.json Every AI coding agent, CLI and editor with its maker, license, platforms, free tier, cost in plain words, pricing page link, skills and MCP support and the date we checked
/data/agents.json The 78 agents the open skills CLI 1.7.0 installs into, and the project folder each one reads (checked 2026-10-01)

Every file has the same top level:

Field Meaning
description What the file holds, in one sentence (not in agents.json)
license The license of our text and data, and a reminder that each listed item keeps its own
generated The date the file was built

Dates are YYYY-MM-DD, and the fields ending in At add the time and its offset (ISO 8601). Every item carries two kinds of date. checked and checkedAt say when we last read its facts from their sources; they move only when we read them again. changedAt says when a value the page shows as content, or our text about it, last really changed; a re-read that finds the same values leaves it alone, and so do star counts and push dates, which carry their own checked date. Fields marked optional are left out when we have nothing checked to put there.
