What Remotion best practices does
Remotion best practices is the router skill in Remotion's skills repository. Remotion is a framework for making videos with React code. The skill itself is short: it tells the agent which bundled guide to load for the task, with folders for creating a project, writing Remotion markup, maps, captions, multimedia, interactivity, Studio, rendering, SaaS apps, documentation lookup and upgrades.
Its workflow puts a live preview first. When you ask for a new video, the agent sets up a project if needed, starts Remotion Studio and opens the preview as soon as the project runs, so you can watch progress and steer. It renders an MP4 only when you ask for it in plain words, such as export or give me the MP4, and points out that Studio has its own render interface.
The skill also protects your edits. If the agent finds a change in the code it did not make, it is told to assume the change was intentional or to ask, not to overwrite it. Separate notes cover how to open Studio in Cursor, in agents with an in-app browser and in agents without one.
