What Programmatic SEO does

Programmatic SEO is one of Corey Haines's marketing skills, for sites that want many similar pages aimed at different keywords: city pages, X versus Y comparisons, integration pages, glossaries or directories. It reads your product marketing context first, then asks what keyword pattern, data and goals you have before proposing anything.

The skill groups page types into 12 playbooks, including templates, curation, conversions, comparisons, examples, locations, personas, integrations, glossary, translations, directory and profiles, each with an example search pattern and a reference file with more detail. It helps you choose a playbook that matches the data you actually own, since proprietary data is one of its core principles.

Implementation covers keyword pattern research, data requirements, template design, internal linking and indexation. Its rules push for unique value on every page, clean URLs and real search intent, and warn against thin pages that search engines treat as spam. The output is a strategy document and a page template, plus checklists for before and after launch.
